For this project we watched a video of a skateboard that when down different height ramps and graphed a prediction and then graphed the real thing. The 21 in. ramp My prediction was pretty close the the real graph, but on the decline of the graph i was way off due to the fact the skateboard went down hill and i thought it would go down way faster then what it did. On the 14 in. graph my maximum was right on point because I watched to see at what point the skateboard stopped and started going down hill. However, i thought the skateboard would increase fast and decrease faster on the graph the what it actually did. The 7 in. ramp i think i did the best at because i found the exact point where the graph stopped because I watched to see where the skateboard just stopped. Because it just stopped made it easier to predict.

For my desmos art i used an online graphing calculator where i could type in different functions and put shading by using grater on less than sings. I liked using the square root functions in my second art work. In my first art work i used the identity function the most. |
